Fundraising

Players and their families will be expected to participate in fundraising efforts with their perspective teams. In the past fundraisers have included Joe Corbi, spirit nights and/or fundraising through local restaurants and, and our very own tournaments. Some coaches organize additional fundraising efforts. In the event that your team sells something for a fundraiser , HHBA asks that all players sell at least 15 items. If you choose for your player not to sell items, you may make a donation of $75. Paying $75 is in lieu of a “selling fundraiser” – it doesn’t exempt you from helping with the tournament- player and parent participation will be expected at all other fundraisers including the two tournaments that we hold each basketball season.

The Hornets will hold 2 tournaments. These are 2 of our biggest fundraisers for the basketball club. ¬†Each team will be assigned an item to bring for the concession stand. We will ask that parents volunteer at least 2 shifts each (2 parent family = 4 shifts, single parent family = 2 shifts- (If one parent from a 2 parent family doesn’t want to volunteer that parent will be expected to pay tournament admission) during the tournament (Volunteering gets you free admission).
